Training/Worship dates: February 18-22

CERT training teaches how to:

• work with community disaster response plans
• work with first responders and their protocols
• conduct an appropriate response
• perform the skills needed to do the most good for the most people.

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) disaster training is a 20-hour course that trains a person for disaster preparedness, planning, survival skills, and mutual aid during the initial period of coping with the aftermath of a disaster or community crisis when quality of survival and one's ability to help others safely and effectively is critical. If you want to be prepared for disasters and learn how to help your family and neighbors after a disaster, this training is for you.

Cost: $40

Training times are Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, Sabbath afternoon/evening & most of the day Sunday. See Agenda below.

***Note: You will need clothes that you do not mind getting stained, cut or torn for the disaster simulation.
