Welcome to the Family is a free, special retreat created to warmly welcome and celebrate the newest members of the Carolina Conference Seventh-day Adventist Church. Hosted by the Carolina Conference Administration, this meaningful weekend is designed to help individuals and families connect, grow, and feel at home within their new church family.
This retreat offers:
- A warm welcome for individuals and families who were baptized or joined the church by Profession of Faith in 2024 or 2025
- An introduction to the Carolina Conference leadership team and key department ministries
- Insight into the broader mission and structure of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Engaging worship experiences and uplifting music
- A variety of camp activities, including horseback riding, swimming, boating, and fellowship
- A family-focused environment, with dedicated children’s and youth programming during adult sessions on Friday evening and Sabbath
- Opportunities to build relationships with other new members from across the conference
