Join “Boston’s honky tonk country queen” Elisa Smith and The Tiny Little Lies for an intimate evening to celebrate the launch of their new project, Verne’s Little Lie. Hear Elisa’s inspiration behind the classic country story of betrayal, murder, and whiskey-drinkin’ and listen to the band play through the 3-song AP (Abbreviated Play) they plan to record this spring.

Encore Apparel and Elisa have also created an exclusive, limited run Verne’s Little Lie T-shirt to raise funds for the project that will be available for sale at the event. These tees are signed and numbered so you’ll want to get them while they last!

And last but not least, a portion of ticket sales will go toward a scholarship for a high school student applying to Berklee. It will be a fantastic night and one you won’t want to miss!

Opening for Elisa Smith will be John Hanson, a local musician and songwriter with a debut album that released January 11th 2019. The group's first effort proves to be both ambitious and accessible. Go On is rock music, with a melodic, timeless feel, a blend of REM, early Arctic Monkeys, and John Frusciante, yet not exactly like any one thing. John Hanson's voice and guitar lead the way through varied explorations in songwriting, with deep thoughtful lyrics. A native of the suburbs between Boston and Providence, JHP have been cutting their teeth in both scenes and have built a small but extremely loyal following.
